Question for the SSL community!
#1
So I would love to get some input from the wider SSL community.

If you could change the SSL in any way OR design your own football based simleague from scratch which features would you like to add/remove and why.

I will start for myself. I think the largest part I would want to see different it the actual engine. I love FM, I think its the best engine for any of the simleagues I am in but still it feels very limited. There are a load of attributes that simply do not do anything. Pace and acceleration are king to an extend that basically everyone just has to build one specific way otherwise you are kinda useless.

In my perfect sim world there would be loads of different build paths that are viable. If you want to build a pace demon, thats still possible. However if you want to build a pirlo type player, low pace but insane control and able to dictate the midfield, you can do that. Building an absolute powerhouse tank targetman that doesnt rely on his pace is possible. A tiny dribbling Cam. Its all possible and it all has strengths and weaknesses.

Managers would need to fit their tactics based on the players they have, not the other way around.

Would love to hear some ideas of you guys :)

A better engine would be perfect but sadly not realistic.

For me what I would want to change in the SSL: Make pace & accel way more expensive so going for 20/20 pacel/accel is a massive investment and means you WILL lack in other departments.
Currently you just get pace/accel to max very easily and will still be elite in other departments like dribbling, aerials, etc. That should not be the case in my eyes. Going for 20 in any skill should be a very hard task, nobody should be able to have max 20 in all physicals and then 16/18s on any other meta attribute.

You want to be a pace demon? Sure, you're now Adama Traore and have 0 technical ability or any real means to produce a good end result.
