Kicking Around in the Offseason
#1
With the season in the rearview mirror, I'm going to take a look at Kaz Okada's second season in Kaapstad. He was a constant presence in the Kaapstad defensive corps, playing 13 games for 1170 minutes. He completed 89.91% of his passes, slightly down from last year's total. This sort of evens out when you think that in his first season, they had three more games to play before expansion lowered the amount, so any misses would drive the statistic lower.

One thing that didn't change from last season was his aggressive play. A central defender, he was often in the mix when corner kicks were taken, successfully making 56.67% of all of his headers this season and 76.92% of his tackles. Despite his style, he actually played more intelligently, ending up with fewer yellow cards from season 1 to 2.  (Note: it was only one, but little steps LOL)

One thing that I have to mention,  because he would headbutt me if I didn't, is that he scored his first career goal, something that he (And I) never thought would happen.

Overall, it would have been nice to end with a better record than it ended up as, but I think there's a lot to play for in the upcoming year for Kaapstad.
