Breathing heavily and feeling more frustrated than he ever had Joe quickly punched the ground and looked up again at the final scoreboard for his first academy match, a 4-1 loss for Atletico against Sydney City. Growing up in the shadow off his father Alexandros Mograine who was a world famed athlete who competed in 3 major sports to the highest level, Joe had always wanted to at least prove he was just as good at least in one of them. Soccer was always what came easiest to him and as a kid his drive pushed him passed the other kids and despite how busy his dad was, he was around enough to encourage him and give him tips and pointers. That being said joe had purposely chosen a different role then the defense focused playstyle of his father to try to separate himself so there was only so much he could do. Still, he had thought this would be easy, he would come in like a bang and score a bunch of times and lead his team to victory or at least have a part in it. Sure, he did not play poorly having a CCC and having run around more then any other in the game but it wasn’t enough. This is less then his expectations and he needed to be and would be better. It is with fire in his eyes that Joe Mograine, not the son of Alexandros Mograine but his own being stands up and promises to improve and surpass his father, sadly not as intimidating a look as he would hope as most people just call him Ed Sheeran the 2nd because of his looks. With a quick sigh and a laugh to himself he makes his way over to the coach, next game will be better.
