Multiple agents came to him with offers from Adidas, Nike, Puma, Gatorade, Coca-Cola, Shamwow, Nike again, Under Armour, Pine-Sol, Pepsi, Nike for a third time, and Kleenex, but Le Tissier only had one sponsorship that he knew he wanted and would stop at nothing to get: the Oxford Comma.
This wasn't your typical sponsorship where a big brand gives a player truck loads of money so that he can endorse their product, it was the kind of sponsorship where a player believes in something's value so strongly that they push the advertisement and use of that thing without being paid or forced to do so. And that was exactly what Matt Le Tissier did. Everywhere he went, he asked people what there thoughts were about the Oxford Comma and if they believed in its necessity. More often than not, the response was: "what?"
Le Tissier was disheartened that not very many people knew what an Oxford Comma was, and even fewer appreciated it. But that didn't stop him from launching a full fledged campaign for the public school systems in Iceland, where his new club was housed, to spend an entire month discussing the use and importance of the punctuation.
After this sponsorship went live, many people wondered what on earth Le Tissier was thinking. Who cares about the Oxford Comma? To which Le Tissier would almost always respond, "we all should." There a few things more righteous than a man who is passionate about proper grammar. He spent many afternoons in public schools and organizing forums and petitions to make the misuse of an Oxford Comma punishable by law. Not a harsh punishment, mind you, but one that would help the country continue to use impeccable grammar, as all should strive to do. Of course, he was quite often laughed out of meetings and left on his bum in the lobby scratching his head wondering where he could have gone wrong in his presentation.
To this day, you can search on youtube for "TED talk: Oxford Comma" and find a fifty-three minute video of Matt Le Tissier rambling on about the uses of the Oxford Comma. And it is because of thiee righteous fight for the appreciation of the Oxford Comma that Le Tissier has refused to accept any other sponsorship offers, claiming that his full attention has to be on the furtherance of this necessary punctuation.

[463 words]

APPROVED

Hol LeDiver Player Page
CPT #2

After Hol LeDiver’s tumultuous sophomore season, he managed to attract a few sponsors, who are now interested in sponsoring him if he does manage to play nationally for Wales. A medium sized airline known as TUI Airways has decided they want to sponsor Reykjavik United’s newly named captain as he journeys through the Simulation Soccer League from Brazil to Iceland, citing his magical forehead and height allowing him to defend all of the aerial balls around the goal.

LeDiver, who is from Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, has often discussed how important it is to grow the sport in Wales, stating how he has always envisioned playing for the national team and how he hopes to be a force for making the team a strong competitor for years to come. He has thought of this since he was just eleven years old when he participated in youth camps and all throughout his young career, he has shown to be very optimistic about Wales’ chances in the future. This sponsorship will be just one of many steps in making that dream come true.

At the press conference announcing the sponsorship, one top executive for TUI Airways said that “We’re happy to be sponsoring one of the best up and coming center backs in the league. We hope to command the skies as well as Hol LeDiver does on the pitch. Starting today, for every clearance LeDiver makes, we will raffle off a free round trip airline ticket to a lucky fan in attendance to anywhere in the world. If he also scores a goal or get an assist, all of the fans who won tickets will also receive a three night stay at the location of their choice.” Jerseys featuring LeDiver will optionally have the airline on it and there will also be special captain’s armbands with the TUI Airways logo emblazoned on it for sale at all team stores. LeDiver, who is quickly developing into one of the premier center backs in the league, spoke a bit about his new sponsorship, saying that “it’s exciting to have earned this from a relatively local airline and I hope to represent them well on and off the field.”

[362 words]

APPROVED

Caleb Hayden Player Page
CPT #2

A sponsorship huh? Caleb never really considered the thought of getting one when he was younger when he was just dreaming of this career, but here we are. There are many different companies that have reached out to Caleb, but there was one that stuck out to him. His favorite morning fast food place to go to was always Dunkin Donuts when he lived in the U.S.A, and they came to him for Caleb to sponsor them. He had to think about this for a bit and consider all his options, but in the end he ended up going with Dunkin Donuts. Caleb has done a few commercials while working for Dunks, but nothing major. They also asked him to put a patch on his jersey to bring in more interest? I don’t really know how that works since he is all the way in Tokyo so, no one would be visiting but I digress. But the color scheme of the Dunks logo seemed to flow well with the Tokyo colors, so it worked out. He had the team stitch it up to his uniform and everything was back to normal. Dunks was very happy with the progress Caleb was making, and they said he was actually bringing in customers, which is surprising, to say the least. Caleb's play this season has caught Dunkin’s eye. They want more people to be excited by Caleb, and his performance this season isn’t helping him at all. He has gotten 0 points in over 5 games, and cannot seem to produce anything offensively, which is concerning because he is a offensive minded player. So Dunkin Donuts decided to say to him, “Hey, if you don’t play better and catch more people's eye, we might have to end this sponsorship and move on.” Caleb for sure did not want that, so he worked hours on end to try and impress Dunks any way he can, and boy, did he ever. His next game he scored 2 goals, which had everyone buzzing. Dunks was very pleased to see that Caleb has finally found some life in the game and wil continue to sponsor Caleb.

CODE

361 words

APPROVED

The team is improving at a rapid rate, and now things are happening for himself off the pitch too. Because Mr. Gourcuff has managed to get himself a sponsorship deal.

It is with the Argentinian based French company Sacre Bleu de Solaire. Sacre Bleu de Solaire is a travel agency, for short. They set up and help people to travel to the beautiful continent of South America. But that is not all they are doing. When Buenos Aires became a part of the SSL, their first ever player was none other than french rookie superstar Laurent Gourcuff. Since then Sacre Bleu has been hard at work in creating a program together with Club Atlético to help bring young, talented players from France to either trial or become part of the Buenos Aires youth set-up. While this hasn't brought them new players yet, it has definitely strengthened the bond between Club Atlético Buenos Aires and France.

Sacre Bleu further increased their connections to the football team of the Argentinian capital, as they would manage trips to visit the grounds and go to a game of theirs. With rising success, they wanted to improve their relationship with the club even further.

So after a few years of this practice, Sacre Bleu reached out to Gourcuff to with an offer. They wanted to use his brand recognition, his swagger on the pitch and his heartfelt and lovely person off the pitch to market themselves. Gourcuff has become a bit mythical in his home country for being a "hidden star", And Sacre Bleu are very keen on taking advantage of that.

The deal was that he would be the poster boy, and also meet up with some of the people for the matchday tours. For him personally, this would include getting free travel back to his home country whenever he wanted, and a ton of money for the troubles. A very mutually beneficial trade between two partners that would grow closer over time.

360 words.

APPROVED

Tata remembers nights as a child where his mother would get home in the late late hours after having walked miles to get them water for the morning. As he grew older, Tata and his brother would take these trips, carrying along large basins to be filled and hauled back in the hot Ivorian sun on the winding roads; the sun along they way was totally blinding. As these memories washed over Tata one night, he had a revelation. Why not work with a company that could alleviate this stress for his home town and many others!?And thus, he sought out a partnership with a sponsor that shared this vision, without the stain of pure capitalism; a tall task to be sure. Enter: Wonder Well!!

Wonder Well's mission is to provide an oasis in the desert. They don't believe that anybody should feel the way you do about water scarcity. No one should have to wonder whether or not they will have water the next day. But today is gunna be the day that they give it all back to you! Wonder Well is a non-profit organization that is powered by charitable donations from generous people such as Tata that want to make a difference in the world. Donors include names such as David Beckham, Angelina Jolie, Bono, and many footballers who donate part of their salaries such as Tata, Matt le Tissier and many more! They share the vision of Wonder Well and making sure that everyone has access to clean water.

Wonder Well works within the confines of country and state laws, but avoids interacting directly with the government, as they tend to get in the way and slow things down. Wonder Well is an English company that has operated for roughly 30 years now and has a stellar reputation among clients and donors. The people of Devo are happy to be another name on the list of satisfied customers and Tata is proud to be sponsored by them, and is more than happy to sport the WW on his boots each week, playing for London!

APPROVED

Indeed, Cartagena, Colombia has a significant issue with falling victim to druggings, especially in night clubs. In her attempts at a career – namely beauty pageants that her mother encouraged her to do early in adulthood – this was a danger that was quite real for her. It’s also very much an issue for tourists visiting the area, and with Colombia gaining some international attention from Sydney’s success, it was an issue that came to the forefront for her quite quickly.

She partnered with an international pharmaceutical company, GBT Grupo Biotoscana, on a project that had been in the works for a few years. Indeed, they had identified a compound in their labs that allowed for identification of common mind-altering drugs without significantly interacting with other ingredients in alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. A quick couple of drops in your drink lets you know whether or not your drink is safe after you’ve taken a trip to the restroom or been distracted by various patrons of the club, and worry about a few other, more important things while you’re in a foreign country. It’s made its way through the first few phases of drug trials, but needed either local or international celebrities to promote its visibility and use as a (hopefully) popular travel item.

Initial press coverage was mixed. Journalists rightly asked why such an item would be necessary in a well-meaning country, why countries couldn’t simply address the underlying problem (licentious people, corrupt owners, and so on). Sydney answered that those have existed as long as there have been people – and their existence, even in tiny volumes, are harmful to those well-meaning natives, tourists, and immigrants each. Indeed, she hopes for a day when none of this will be necessary; until then, she considers GBT Grubo Biotscana’s new compound, particularly given its international affordability, simple manufacturing, and potential benefits with no (currently) known drawbacks as a necessity for at-risk and vulnerable populations engaging in recreational activities. As a proponent particular of women’s health and well-being, this new wonder drug stands to benefit potentially millions of people internationally.

[363]

APPROVED

We are delighted for you to attend our press conference here today at BSG Headquarters in London. As you know we have some exciting news to share with everybody and thought it would be best to do so in a fancy press conference. We are of course market leading in scary ass tactical first person shoot and loot with realistic references kind of games. Fuck COD and Fortnite. Even Quake and Animal crossing. We are of course talking about our main game Escape From Tarkov. And the fact that we are making a collaboration with a football player from the Montreal United that’s been ratting around in our world since 2017. Many rumours have been passed around about who this individual can be. Some rumours say it is Duke. Others say it is Charles Andrew Simon Utley Abara Lunga or just CASUAL as he is called. But it is neither of them. They are not ratty enough. Could it be Toki Wartooth? As Casual would say. He isn’t “tokig” enough.

He will be playing regularly and you can all follow his progression through the game during this wipe. So far he has made it to level five. Only missing twenty two points to become level six. His Kill death ratio is at eight, but it might dwindle downwards as he gets tougher and tougher tasks and the sweaty opponents sweats more sweat than a sauna with ten naked dudes at an old folks home in Finland. We will of course give him a brand new streaming and gaming rig. All top notch and no shitty gear. Then we will see how far and how good he will become. Hence forward there will also be Tarkov Fridays. Every Friday there will be a live gathering somewhere with merch from Escape From Tarkov and the player himself. This will of course not interfere with his duties towards Montreal United, but will be a spare time project that will give him more energy and better reflexes. And probably satisfy his hunger for hoarding loot.

So with no further ado.. Let’s bring out TOOOM PEEEDERSEN and welcome him as the new ambassador of Escape from Tarkov..

*Applause, gun noises, dying scavs, cheeky breecky and more applause*

Words: 376

APPROVED
