Seouls New Direction
#1
After quite a slow start to the season for Seoul they are really finding their groove now. Just having arguably their best win of the season vs Buenos Aires who lead the division before the matchday. Seouls success has came from players like Hugh Mann and Berocka Aloisi hitting form with the defence improving dramatically over the season. Let’s dive in to when the form changed for the better. Seouls historic biggest win in
SSL history over Red Star Laos really kicked off the momentum with a whopping 12-3 victory. In that game Seoul showed how clinical they can be turning a 6.71 Xg into 12 goals. Something that has helped Seoul in the last few matches is the formation changes depending on what the opposition plays. Something that has stayed fairly similar tho is Seoul have decided to adopt 3 at the back and having wing backs. This allows the wing backs to get high up the pitch on attack and get balls into the front 3. The 5 at the back is also very compact defensively always seeming to have enough players back even on the break of the opposition. Seoul have a long way to go if they want to get promoted but definitely good signs on the horizon.
