Alright well look today I want to mix it up a bit. We talk a lot about sports here of course, that's what we do. But we don't give a lot of love to the game of soccer. You know they call it the 'the beautiful game'. Heyyyy that's a good job by yous there Marky. But I mean it's a bunch of dudes trying to kick a ball, right? I think last time I played I was probably 7? Anything but beautiful. Spent most of my time looking for worms to eat. You never cease to amaze me my friend. Well hey look, anyways, there's this new soccer league out there, called the simulation soccer league. This league is amazing, they got teams all over the place, from Tokyo, Japan to right here in the states. Those guys must be racking up the frequent flier miles, holy *beep*. Indeed, indeed. Well soccer, I don't know, I've obviously never been a big fan. I grew up playing baseball, totally different ballgame all together. But I know soccer's been getting bigger in the states, I know outside of the US, it's huge. I mean I was reading something about this the other day. The NFL.....has about 400 million fans worldwide, in the whole world. Think about how many of your friends, family, co-workers tune into the Super Bowl. It's everyone I know I feel like. It's basically a holiday in my family. Me too. But hey, listen Marky, alright now get this, soccer, football for anyone outside the US, worldwide fans.......3.5 billion, that's billion with a B, Marky. That's insane, wow. Well anyways, alright let me get to my point here finally. I mean, should we be watching this? SSL or MLS or something. I mean am I missing out here? Any soccer fans out there listening, call in right now I wanna talk about this, especially if you've been watching this SSL. Hey don't look at me, all I know is don't pick up the ball or your dad will yell at you after the game. Yikes....alright we got our first caller. Caller you're live on the show how's it going? I honestly don't know where they find some a these guys. These are world class playas they just pulled outta tin air it seems like. I don't know who's bankrolling this *beep* but they got money and a whole lot of it. Look maybe it's not Champions League or whatever, but I'm liking it a lot more than MLS. I don't know a thing about soccer. Why should I watch it? It's a brand new league, there's not a better time to try getting into it in your life. I mean who am I even supposed to root for here Franky? It's not like we got a team anywhere near here. There's a US team, Hollywood. And they're good, real good. Top a the league right now. No, I'm not rooting for some west coast team. Can't do it. Most of these guys aren't American anyways. So Hollywood, is that your team to root for? You just jump on the bandwagon cause they're good then? No no, I root for Inter London, but that's mainly cause they got a Boston boy, Bud-Lite "Large Box" McGuirk. You're kidding, that's the guys real name? I mean 'Large Box' is his nickname, but yeah his real name is Bud-Lite. If that was my name I'm not sure if I woulda kept it to be honest with you guys. Yeah I mean what does he have to pay royalties to Budweiser to sign autographs (laughs)? Alright so this Bud-lite guy is someone to watch out for then? I mean he's alright. If you're really gonna watch out for any player on Inter London though it's gotta be K Clamence. That's the dude right there yessir. His name is Kay? Like the jewelry place or whatever? No.....like just the letter K. Like one letter. What is with the names for these soccer guys? Alright we got Bud-Lite and Special K. Any other crazy names here? Well no other strange names but they have uh, a turtle? What, a literal turtle? What like a ninja turtle or something are you serious? Nah just like a normal turtle. He's one of those like Galapogos turtles I guess. He's at least a few feet tall or something if he stands up. Look him up. Pasta the Turtle. (Typing on keyboard can be heard) Holy cow, I can't believe I never heard of this. Look at this Marky. Never seen anything like this. Alright listen, Franky. I was on the fence, but a soccer turtle? You got me hooked with that one. I'm watching this Inter London squad next time I can wow. Alright last think Franky then we'll let you go. Inter London is the whats? Like they got a mascot or something? Well like most soccer teams it's just Inter London FC, football club. But their unofficial official mascot is the Blueys. The Blueys? Like that dog cartoon you know. I mean I guess? Alrighty then. Well hey look, Franky, thanks for chatting. Right on fellas, take care. Soccer, Marky, they call it the beautiful game.
