Sidney City game recap: Sidney City Vs Victoria Falls 0-2 (0-1) In a game filled with many absences, Sidney City loses to Victoria Falls.
downs:
•Poor defending by the defenders leads to many chances for the opponents.
•Poor defense of standard situations leads to chances, especially after corners
•Many bad passes in the build-up to the game lead to counterattack opportunities
•only a few shots from the striker
ups:
•Good blocking of shots by the goalkeeper •good runs from the wing
•Good and creative dribbling from the wingers
Overall it was a bad game from Sydney City. It wasn't a total failure, but it was an unimaginative game from Sydney. They seemed unsure, not confident in their system but I know they can play better and they will. From this defeat they will definitely have to learn from their mistakes in defense and in game building if they want to win their next game.
With this 0-2 defeat, Sidney is off to a bad start this season. Stockholm also doesn't get off to the best start after losing to Atletico 1-3 (0-2). Atletico and Victoria both got off to a solid start and deserved to win.
