In my opinion, this has been a very disappointing season for Buenos Aires. Some extremely tough loses against teams they should have beat and some blowouts against teams much better. Outside of Buenos Aires keeper, in Khabiri, the team is not meeting expectations. So many breakdowns late in games that have costed the club crucial points in the standings. The coaches have taken O'Leary off the right shoulder of Bradford as a Shadow Striker and moved him into a central attacking midfielder role. Although he has assumed the role well, it appears the expected goals per game has significantly dropped for Buenos Aires with no real noticeable difference in the team's defense. With the previous strategy, O'Leary was great at capitalizing on his chances and creating space for his teammates, especially Edwin Van Der Sloth. It appears the new strategy has somewhat handcuffed the offensive creativity the dynamic threat that Bradford, O'Leary and Edwin Van Der Sloth previously had. I know the fans had high expectations coming into this season, but unfortunately Buenos Aires was very inconsistent in pretty much every part of their game. With the veterans beginning to age out, they only have so many "next year" to build on the legacy of this core group of players.
