Millwall: "I want to keep improving."
#1
Much like his Academy club, Stockholm IK, defensive midfielder Cameron Millwall has had an average start into season 19. In Stockholm's wins, he registered an assist apiece to contribute to his sides success. The two games which Stockholm lost 3-0 in disastrous fashion, he was nowhere to be seen. Such (in)consistency is to be expected from a young player, but it does leave a couple of questions marks on scouting reports. When does he excel, the German showed he can be a key cog for a team system. He has one of the highest completion percentages throughout all of the Academy on a top 10 place in attempts.

His coaching staff called Millwall out in a team meeting after the matchday 3 loss, reports say. The midfielder did not deny such rumors, saying he was notified of several lapses of errors in a film session. "I'm totally fine with that," Millwall said, "it's what coaches are meant to do. I want to keep improving. There are many areas of the game where I have to be better for my team to win games consistently." As the season progresses, time will tell whether Millwall can stop doing rookie mistakes. It's crucial for him if he wants to build a solid draft reputation.
