Braving every storm coming their way, its players have earned the new found fortune through hard work and determination. Changing up the offense proved to be paramount for increasing the team’s goal count by creating a one striker, two offensive midfielders setup. Through this change, all three have shown their talents as each play off of each other when in possession of the ball. Nerve de Groot’s recent goals proved to be spectacular as power behind the ball and well placed headers were too much for the opposing defense to combat. De Groot in a recent interview commented on the three being able to find success in teamwork. “Most of our offensive plays have us passing quickly and accurately to either the striker or to us midfielders. We have had luck in being able to outrun any defensive answer from the other team. As a result, we have found chances to score through our training and experience” De Groot explains. With more matches to come União São Paulo braces for the others they have not faced yet.
