What even is tpe?

There seems to be a mad dash to gain a currency referred to as tpe in this league. Bimitar isn't really even sure what it is or why people are clamoring for it like it will magically make them better at football. People will quite literally do anything except put the hard work in on the pitch to get better. Rather than get caught up in this mess of "I did all my tasks first!" or "I'm 2 tpe ahead of you", Bimi will continue to focus on what the football gods designed him to do; score goals. Derba is a machine put on this earth to make ball go in net. That's it. So, what does he do with his free time? Practice putting ball in net. Quibbling about earning a tpe for this and that is not going to make the ball go in the net. Free kicks, dummy drills, conditioning. That's what matters. If one of his handlers were to tell him that tpe would, in fact, make the ball go in the net more, then Bimi would absolutely become the best at earning tpe. But that's not how this game works, so he shall continue to outwork others on the pitch and make ball go in net.

I think TPE is legit the only way to show how superior a player is. Stats are so wonky and can vary by how a player is utilized on their team. Even position to position, how do you really compare a striker to a goal keeper? There aren't any good stats to really compare everything between players and positions. So TPE is legit the only way. If someone can come up with a better way, I'm all ears. But that also gets us into regression. How are some of these players around for so damn long? How is a season 1 player still kicking? Certainly they are the best player ever made in this league since they've accumulated the most TPE over the course of the entire Simulation Soccer League in order to survive regression. If my official stance is that TPE is the best way to indicate which players are better, then yes, Henrik Lind is the greatest SSL-er ever to exist. This is certainly not me sucking up to the user who happens to be the commissioner. It's literally speaking to the facts laid out above. I'd love to hear arguments as to why Henrik is not the greatest ever, since TPE is the only possible metric to compare players.
