GRADED: McTendie ready for action
#1
Chicken McTendie grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh where soccer was not the most popular game on the block. But after trying and failing at other sports like baseball and football McTendie watched his first soccer game on TV, and became fascitnated with the sport immediately. He quickly signed up for his high school soccer team and fell into place with other friends that also realized what a beautiful game soccer was. Originally McTendie was a striker, but after a few games the coaches pulled him aside and asked about his thoughts of becoming the net minder. They said his lanky frame and quick wits would be a great fit for what they envisioned out of a goalie. After some initial pushback because Chicken wanted to be a playmaker he decided to give it a go. He was not your typical goal keep as he often would get the ball at his feet and take it out further then normal, but he always kept his head on a swivel and routinely would make a pass at just the right time to spring his teammates and let them go on runs while he scampered back to the net. Chicken finished off his first season only allowing a total of 5 goals and he continued to blossom from there.

As Chicken heads to the academy the only questions that remain are where will he play next? And can his reckless style of goal keeping continue to thrive at the next level?
