Then to have spent the next nine years with that outstanding leader, that smart student of psychology, the best manager in the SSL today, Omniscius? Sure, I'm lucky."

When you have a wonderful manager-in-law who takes sides with you in squabbles with their own player - that's something. To quote a great man, "Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human". I can think of nothing more poignant and apropos to describe such a player such as Hugh Mann. The kindness, love and respect you have received is clearly deserved for such a player that is synonymous with the league. Your feats of greatness will not be missed, and despite myself being a new addition to the league, it is characters such as Hugh Mann that I will aspire to be like. 

I have no doubt your likeness is plastered across the rooms of other Hugh Mann's who look to you as the hero of the game that you are. You speak of your privilege of having played alongside the greats of the game, but I have no doubt you have the same level of respect reciprocated from the very same players you have mentioned. These names gravitated around you because of the undeniable Hugh Mann qualities that you perpetuated.

Take a bow son, on a remarkable career that most can only aspire to have. I'm sure I speak for most when I say we wish you the best in all your future endeavours.
