ACADEMY TASK 5: S22 DRAFT CLASS WINGER ANALYSIS
#1
This draft class boasts to be the most ancitipated in a long time, with multiple high end users recreating as well as having top tier first gen talent to back it up with. Most popular position in this draft class happens to be the attacking winger role, with 5 right wingers, as well as 4 left wingers. Depending on the teams positional needs there sure is a lot of class to choose from.

On the right wing:
Bryvins Mbeumo, 386 TPE
Ryan O'Neill, 392 TPE
Aimo Silakka, 404 TPE
Ozzy Trent Kovács, 411 TPE
João Cancelo, 421 TPE

On the left wing:
Silver Tarandus, 362 TPE
Orla Hughes-Galloway, 404 TPE
Fiery Chicken, 411 TPE
Nyron Nosworthy, 421 TPE

Right off the bat first thing to pop out is their mutual interest in putting points onto pace and acceleration. On average they have 13.5 speed, narrowed down to 13 which happens to be very much value for TPE. Lowest pace belongs to Joao Cancelo and Orla Hughes-Galloway, both at 11 pace and the highest pace belongs to Fiery Chicken.
Acceleration is another key attribute for wingers, and no to nobodys surprise these guys have not skimped out on that one either. On average our wingers have 14 acceleration, most belonging to Nyron Nosworthy this time around and the lowest one belonging to Joao Cancelo once more. Needless to say his draft stock is tanking hard unless he can get those numbers up.

Most popular trait amongs our wingers seems to be "Cuts inside from both wings" with 6 our of our 9 players having that trait on their belt. Especially players like Aimo Silakka and Ozzy Trent Kovacs benefit from having the trait, them being able to play on the left side will really benefit that style of play. Second most popular trait belongs to "Crossing early" with 3 players having that and "Places shots" ranked 3rd in overall trait evaluation among wingers, though being relatively low compared to the high scoring wingers we have seen in the league so far.

Currently potential destinations for our wingers would involve teams like Tokyo SC, who currently have no direct wingers on their squad, though Juan Rodriguez could flex onto there, I suppose. CA Buenos Aires have a dire need for wingers as their longetivity is not looking the greatest, Viktoria Snooks having seen the best our of her and Bengt Rubin is quite not there yet. Even Giacomo Santorini is on the right so maybe they should look at their left side and really think long and hard about our prospects. Uniao Sao Paolo would benefit from having a right winger from this draft, just to keep things going smoothly as Zach Mulder is their only player on the right hand side. Reykjavik United also have a gaping hole on their right hand side, though George Shaheen is a promising player he cannot do it all by himself. Schwarzwälder is crying for a winger from this draft, they have none on their right hand side and it really shows in their play.

With that being said, I am very much surprised to see more wingers than strikers this time around. Should be a fun draft
