After a season long performance by Shanghai that internally had drummed up the nickname "Drawgons", the Shanghai club finally struck gold with a 2-1 league win over fellow club team A.C. Romana. In a thrilling 2-1 win that saw Voda finally push through another goal, and the surprise SUPERSUB getting in on the action to put the nail in the coffin for Romana, a sigh of relief echoed through the Dragons team space. Not only had the series of draws finally come to an end, but a win was finally on the stat sheet.
This seems like the catalyst that could signal strong back half of the schedule for the Dragons. A team that is still on the upswing in terms of talent and growth, could very easily seize this moment as a push to make some noise down the stretch. While many within the organization have been quietly working to make the team better for years to come, there has been a very vocal youth movement within the club that perhaps has sparked some extra life into the majors team. Question remains though, will that be enough to push them over the edge the rest of this season?
However, they are still better than Reykjavik
