Headed into Match Day 15, Fry was anticipating a strong match against Tokyo.  Fry had put his Corner Kicking training into practice and was ready for the match.  Additionally, Fry bought new shoes, this time with the feature of being just as good on the left foot as the right, at least according to the marketing team.  That said, there was a sense of Doom that lurked in the back of his mind.  He shrugged it off, cracked open a Slurm Plus, and readied himself for the match.

Things got off to an unfortunate start, with Tokyo stringing together seven passes in a row with the final pass ending up in the back of the net.  Perhaps I should learn to mark a bit better, thought Fry.  I was close to the shooter, in fact.

Still, the new boots are working in good order.  A through ball to Fry arrived at his left foot and he passed the ball in for a goal.  The referee incorrectly disallowed the goal.  Fry might need to invest in that Persuasion skill, it's unthinkable that the referee reversed that decision.  Still, it was good passing, and a good sign.

Fry will have to go back to work further on Corner Kicks, his first effort was dreadful.  At least he managed to break up the counter attack that eventually resulted.

The inverted winger role is still something that Fry is working on, despite it being his most demanded skill to date.  Frequently he finds himself in the wrong location, tangled up with the defenders or even his own side.  Better Positioning skill is required - or maybe worse positioning skill.  Anything but where he's been standing.

Good gravy that's a big fellow on the other team, Ronflex is a mountain.  Yun turned Luiz into jello and stroked in the second goal.

Fry's second and third corner kicks of the day were similarly poor, but in the run of play his crosses were effective.  Something to note, he thought.  Work on the corner kicks.

Ben Nelson lost his mind at that moment and swept both legs from a Tokyo player, off to the showers for Ben.  This just got a lot harder.

Fifteen minutes to go, Fry decided to make an all or nothing play.  The ball, however, had other ideas.  A brisk counterattack left Zlatan with no option but to seal the game with a third goal.

Decent little article, disjointed in places, like the flow is broken up a fait, but still ticks a lot of boxes.
