Tumelo Letsie is a little known goalkeeper from a little known place, Lesotho, and is starting to make a name for himself as he in now entered into the SSL Academy playing for Accra and gets to stay local-ish playing for a team in Africa. While Lesotho is in southeast Africa while Ghana is in West Africa, it is still nice to stay on the same continent and similar cultures to his own. He is a a relatively unknown player seeing as Lesotho is a rather unknown country pretty much being up in the mountains in a landlocked country inside South Africa. He has however played some in South African leagues but not in the top division and therefore still seems to be unknown.
Letsie is a decent sized keeper but is most known for his athleticism and reflexes with the ability to make quick reactions for saves no matter where they are shot at in the goal. This was on display in Accra's last game where Tumelo stopped a penalty shot to keep Istanbul off the board and preserve the clean sheet. His teammates are appreciating the reliable keeping in the net and have really stepped up on defense. Shots are definitely few and far between due to a strong team and Letsie is able to stay in front of a lot that actually do come through.
