Appearances, polish, and style are all incredibly important for sim leagues, and I think we all know that. There’s a lot of work that goes into everything sim league, and none of that is paid. We’re all volunteering our time, and we get what we get from that kind of commitment. But I must say, for a league that is pretty young, at least on the grand scale of things, the SSL is truly a sleek and polished entry into the lot. Yes, there are some wonky posts from a forum change, yes there’s some responsiveness delays on the portal, and yes, there are some legacy sub-forums and threads that add some confusion to the mix. But, these minor hiccups are well worth the experience. The stream presentation is simple and clean. The portal is functional, stylish, and consistent. The introductory videos are incredibly coherent, comprehensive, and crystal clear. The Discord is well laid out, and I’ve managed to mute almost everything and still get all of the information I need. Everything has a place, and it serves precisely that purpose. That’s something I can really appreciate. So to all of the people involved in the layout, I appreciate you, and your volunteered effort.
