Its match day 1 of the season, PS Jarkarta beat Istanbul F.K. in a thumping 4-0, Lam convincingly earn the Man of the Match award in his debut with a 9.0 rating, scoring one goal and two assists.
He got his first assist in the 23rd minutes, crossing from the right flank with his left foot finding James in the box, James fires a volley into the the back of the net claiming the first goal of the season for PS Jarkarta.

First of all congratulation, what a debut, how do you feel after playing in a new club in a different country?
''Thank you, it feels good after playing well in the first match of the season, I will be honest I did not expect myself to play this well today, I am still settling in a new team and country afterall.''
Lets talk about the goal and assists, what were you thinking during those?
''Well the first assist, i just saw James in the box, I took the risk crossing it to him with my left, and what a volley from him. The second assist is quite simple really, I saw Papadopoul in an one on one with his man, and just trust him he will do the rest. The goal though, wasn't expecting it to go in, I just took the chance, I am not much of a shooter really.''
Last question, how do you feel about the rest of the season after this match?
''I am obviously quite confident and hopeful after a 4-0, we got a good squad, players with good finishing that can scored from the chances I created, I am excited to see whats to come for the rest of the season.''
