Hello there!
Some of you may know me, some of you don't.
I have been in this league since the days Accra was a major league team, joined around S4.
In the sim league multiverse I have been around for longer, starting out with the SHL about 3 years ago.
Ever since then I branched out to the SSL first, then to the ISFL and PBE and I think that is enough for the time being lol.
My last player Duncan Maxwell was very special to me, since Central Defender would probably have been the position I would have played myselfif I was an outfielder and still playing soccer. I was lucky that I got drafted by SfV, then a 2nd league team looking for long-term success.
After some seasons as Academy Captain Duncan came to the active roster just in time to witness SfV's title victory in Division 2 which would have earned them a promotion, if not for the league restructuring that saw SfV go up into the Major League anyways and having Montreal become our Junior Team.
Steady success and a great LR atmosphere saw us soaring higher and higher. I was invited to the tactics room and provided my own takes on the FM meta. Thankfully this is the league where I am of any use tactics-wise.
I have a couple houndred of hours of FM under my belt and was able ro invebt some innovative tactics like my patented (no, not really) two defender formation, that we just played to counter one specific team.
Two league titles and a cup later Duncan's career is now fizzling out in his last season.
I can look back at this career and see a ~2250 TPE peak, putting me on top of the earning charts of my S11 class and even topping some peaks of other classes.
I never did much jobbing in this league apart from a couple of seasons in the Award committee, so money earning was not particularily high.
Yet, I did pretty much every AC, PT and Uncapped PT wjich saw me outlast the competition in the TPE race.
This pretty much is my shtick in every league, slow but steady, consistent, being a completionist.
Now Kaspar Talvik. Remember what I said about Central Defender? Well, Goalkeeper was my actual position in real life and now I can finally bring it into the SSL. In fact my first player ever in this league was a Goalie, but I had to retire him pretty much the next day, because back then Goalie positions were rare and I was basically told that I would not see much play at that point anywhere. Nowadays with all the teams that are new, I can see more open spots for me and look to compete for them!
My goal? Same as always, consistent earning, aiming to be top of my class.
Now I just need a great LR to hang out with ;)
