Fry springs back into action
#1
Coming into Match Day 14, Fry was feeling good.  He had improved Agility, Balance, and a number of other skills.  The season has been going poorly - no one can deny that.  Nevertheless, Fry was expecting a result, a big result on this day.

Early in the game, Fry noticed not only that his old friend Miedemea was on the opposing team, but also that somehow he had lost the corner kick specialization on the team.  Disappointing.

Still, the new Agility skills and the Dribbling upgrades are paying dividends, with an early breakaway cut down by good defensive work.

Good work was present on the Cataluna side, but Kika Baal put the Liffeyside team up 0-1 to start.

A cross came across to Fry, but his head was too round and the ball sailed off into the stands.  The ball was lost, and there the half was ended.

Into the second half, Cataluna wasted chance after chance... The numbers don't lie, but we still have not gotten any real chances.  Corner kicks are one thing, but real shots on goal... there are few.

Into the last 15 minutes.  The pressure is on, some level of scoring needs to happen here.  The referee puts his whistle back into his pocket, letting the game proceed.  With a minute left, Smith puts Cataluna back into the game, 1-1.  Despite the best efforts of Liffeyside, there the match ended.
