Canada vs Americas WSFC 2023 Quarter Finals Review
#1
Well, it's a New Year, so the WSFC is coming up. So, I decided to do a review a WSFC match this time. This week reviewing Canada vs Americas in the Quarter Finals of the 2023 WSFC tournament.

But first, let's have a look at the- nah, I'm trolling.

KICKOFF

In the 9th minute, Canada won an indirect free kick with Gino Chouinard to take it. Gino crosses into the box to whoever the ball is gonna land on which usually works on corners but for some reason works on indirect free kicks as well because it's practically the same angle as a corner. THE BALL LANDS ON SKY RYZE, AND HE DELIVERS THE HEADER! AN EARLY GOAL TO START THE MATCH, THIS MIGHT AS WELL BECOME A THRILLER IF THEY NEED TO!

1-0

In the 43rd-44th minute, Americas had possession with the highlight starting with Nicolás Inclán with the ball. Nicolás, I. passes the ball to Sydney Ramirez, Sydney tries to cross to Bayley de Allie, but Dorian Lexington attempts to clear the ball off the pitch away from Bayley, but even so, Donna Rumma gets the ball back in time. Donna attempts to make the run, and passes to Hun Possible, it's Hun's turn to attempt to make the run, Hun crosses to Bayley, AND BAYLEY DE ALLIE MAKES THE EQUALISER, POSSIBLY A 1-0 COMEBACK!

'44 Bayley de Allie Americas
1-1

Half Time
Canada 1-1 Americas

2nd Half KickOff

In the 64th-65th minute, Americas won a goal kick with Patrick Carrigan to take it. Patrick crosses as far as he can to the striker, it ends up being a contested possession battle between Bayley de Allie and Squall Vercetti. Squall wins the battle and nods it away from Bayley, but Guilherme Guerra nods it again, yet it lands on Gino Chouinard's feet bringing the possession back to Canada. Gino passes backwards to Jon Garfield, Jon passes backwards again to the goalkeeper, Brick Wall Jr, Brick crosses as far as he can to the striker, and the ball does indeed go to Sky Ryze, as he nods it to Isabela Cortez. Isabela attempts to make the run, Isabela crosses back to Sky Ryze, AND SKY SCORES A BRACE FOR CANADA, IT COULD BE THE WINNER!

2-1

In the 76th-77th minute, Americas had possessionwith the highlight starting with Lorenzo Vokovic with the ball. Brock Sherwood slide tackles the ball off Lorenzo, but Isabela Cortez practically wasn't paying attention, because Milton Núñez gets the ball back in possession to Americas. Milton passes to Sydney Ramirez, Sydney passes back to Milton, back to Sydney, Sydney passes to Nicolás Muñoz, Nicolás, M. passes backwards to Donna Rumma, Donna looks for options, ends up crossing to Hun Possible, Hun passes to Guilherme Guerra, Guilherme passes backwards to Sydney, Sydney passes to Nicolás Inclán, Nicolás, I. crosses to Milton Núñez, Milton crosses into the box, Guilherme IS THERE, AND AMERICAS MAKES THE EQUALISER ONCE AGAIN COMING FROM GUILHERME GUERRA THIS TIME, IT IS INDEED AN ABSOLUTE THRILLER!!!

'77 Guilherme Guerra Americas
2-2

FULL TIME
Canada 2-2 Americas

It's a quarter final and they drew, so it's gonna go to extra time.

Extra Time KickOff

Extra Half Time
2-2

2nd Half Extra Time KickOff

Extra Full Time
2-2

(WHISTLE BLOW) PENALTIES!

Penalty Shootout:
Bayley de Allie (0-1)
Tyson King (1-1)
Nicolás Muñoz (1-2)
Sky Ryze (2-2)
Nicolás Inclán (2-3)
Patrick Carrigan SAVE (2-3)
Patrick Carrigan (2-4)
AJ Williams (3-4)
Hun Possible WINNER (3-5)

AMERICAS ARE THROUGH TO THE SEMI FINALS!

Even though Americas won, Sky Ryze still won the PoTM award with a 9.3 rating, and the one responsible for the simulation did not show the game ratings for Americas because they're salty, so based on the ratings after Extra Time, I'm gonna guess that the best performing player for Americas was Milton Núñez with an 8.5 rating.

Now, IDK if I should go back to normal or stay with WSFC. Stay tuned to what I decide.
