After the apparent row between McNeil and Walker earlier this week, both players have been seen out in public together once again. Some had speculated that the previous row could show a potential irreparable rift between the pair but this latest sighting seems to have put that to bed.
Both players were spotted heading into the local pub joking away and laughing, with the earlier row seemingly a distant memory rather than the focus of attention.
After they left, we managed to get more from the bar-man who was working that day, "They came in, had a few drinks and buggered off. What more do you want me to say? Both lousy tippers though, that you CAN print! They also said Guinness tasted terrible, they aren't wrong but it somehow feels strange to hear from a Northern Irish lad".
So it does appear the row was nothing more than us here over hyping the severity of the situation. We will however be keeping a watchful eye on their whereabouts in future to see if it truly has been put to bed or both players were just putting on a brave face to appease the fans and hope they don't look further into the situation. There were rumours of management calling both players in and threatening "The Hollywood Treatment" and internal suspension of a few matches and a small fine. Either way Masques Sacrés will hope this is the end of it regarding two of their brightest stars from last years draft.
