As the snow begins to melt, and the season draws to a close, Larv Itar decides to take some inspiration from famed racing driver Franz Hermann and showed up to a local Sunday league match under the name Ash Ketchup.
Wearing his very obviously not a fake moustache and a sporty hat, he slipped right into the game. What followed was quite possibly the worst game of football since the invention of a ball.
To start with, the ground was sodden, poorly kept due to the winter weather and slippier than a greased up pig. Players were falling over left and right, covered in mud and snowmelt. This was made all the worse due to the mismatched kit that everyone was wearing. Even the Striker was wearing what looked to be last nights clubbing outfit.
It was absolute Pandemonium and the poor ref couldn’t keep up with everything going on. His 2” thick frames certainly didn’t help matters and the game was an absolute farce. Final score ended up 1-0 due to the ball slopping past as errant kicks sent both sides flying.
Needless to say, that’s probably the last time that Larv decides to sneak into a Sunday league game and instead will probably stick to normal league games.
