[VSN] The Diary of Liz: Wild Thai
#1
Dear Diary,

It sure has been a ride for me playing for Krung Thep for the past few seasons, trying to adapt to Thai cuisine, and even trying to learn the local language was something I found to be rather difficult. Not to mention that playing during the monsoon season is a nightmare, as any heavy rain would reduce my abilities to play footy because of the flame coming out of my chest, and my long hair would get messy and tangled everywhere. After two seasons of being named to the All-Minors team, it was only a matter of time before I would be called up to Tenochitlan. It was emotional getting called up, as I had to say goodbye to Bangkok after living there and playing footy for the past 3 years of my life. If there is one thing that I do miss about the area is the many beautiful Buddhist wats that make up the wonderful cultural architecture of the area. If there is one thing that I won't miss about being in Thailand, it's the many snakes that always seem to come near my apartment. Almost every day i come face-to-face with a serpent that always hoods itself when I come near it, and it kept trying to strike me with a violent hiss. Turns out the locals call these things "Cobras." And that I shouldn't get bitten by one due to its potent venom. That is not the strangest thing to happen while I was in Thailand, one time practice in the jungle got interrupted when one of the coaches tried to catch a tiger cub, only to immediatly get jumped by another large tiger, I don't know how they survived that encounter.

Although we never came close to winning the minor trophy or the SSL cup, I enjoyed my time with Krung Thep. My only advice is to stay away from the wildlife, as its ionly destinted to kill you.

I wonder if Mexico has similar wildlife issues, I hope there are no more snakes around here..
