Florian Gaisberg, Chickens, and Gerhard Gaisberg
#1
Florian Gaisberg, permanent fixture in the deep midfield of North Shore United and the greater Reykjavik organization, the former first round pick whose career was derailed by a very aggressive bridge troll that prevented him from accessing the organization's practice field for a few consecutive years, is in the prime of his footballing years. He still keeps chickens, several of them, in fact, being registered with the Landwirtschaftskammer Nordrhein-Westfallen as a small-scale chicken farmer. This business is unprofitable, barely covering its own maintenance, but he has enough football money to make it work and give himself a second job to retire to when professional footballing is done. He has also married, and thus far has two children: a daughter Hilde, and a son Gerhard. Hilde prefers the chickens and following in her artistic mother's footsteps to sport, but Gerhard is every inch his father's son. The boy spends all day on the pitch whenever allowed. He has greater stamina than the other boys his age, and has a stronger inclination to score with long balls than his father. When Florian retires, the football world will not go without a Gaisberg for long.
