Blame David Lynch
#1
Alrighty lets do it.

As I eluded to last week, the grit and grind of building 1 attribute at a time is certainly becoming much more of a slog. The button gets clicked on a Monday, the Training gets purchased every couple of months and well, I write 200 words every week, ideally more on the Monday end than the Sunday end. Sometime in the middle of the week I scratch together enough TPE to squeeze one more number up, that might squeeze a couple of stats, in aggregate, up a fraction of a hair. At the end of the day, this is not a cycle that can sustain someone for very long. That feeling of progression is not one of inputs and outputs, but of tangential effects that happen to even out along the way. It’s the locker room chats, it’s the clipped funny moments, it’s the infinitudes of offside checks, and it’s another week down. One step closer to the goal, one expected goal towards the deserves-a-win meter. I’m happy to be here, and everywhere, and reap and sow what I can. Sunday nights are for words when a week has been spent well-lived, and among the community. So I’ll pay the piper tonight, knowing that fractions on fractions will make wholes, and eventually goals.

I just finished watching Twin Peaks, so if none of that made any sense, blame David Lynch. That’ll be all.
