Weekly PT #240 - Knockout Shockers ?

This world cup has been exciting to watch from a canadians man eyes.  Two biggest shockers for me was Turkey and Uruguay. Turkey Results  losing 2-0 to Australia and losing 1-0 Paraguay is quite crazy with all the hype of the group. I seen alot of people predicting turkey to be 1st in the group. The last match they played their best beating the USA 3-2. Every game except for USA they had complete control of possession. Just shows you need finish and not ball control to win games it seems. Uruguay who i had picked myself to finish 2nd in a very weak pool it seemed. Having 2 Draws and 1 loss, first draw against Saudi Arabia. 2nd draw was against Capo Verde which we now know they made the knockout playoffs. Capo Verde keeper played unreal which was honestly great to see. Uruguay finishing 3rd in the group with 2 points. Spain even tho they had a draw with Capo Verde as well. Spain showed Uruguay the difference between a good team to a great team, Uruguay only had 33% possession and throughout the 3 games again struggled to score just like Turkey. For exciting first round match ups in the round of 32, Im very excited to see Netherlands vs Morocco. Netherlands have been playing very well and should win the game but Morocco even though highly ranked in world ranking. Morocco last world cup had some upsets and shocking 4th place finish. Morocco also gave brazil a hard time as well. Netherlands tho should handle them though but again you never know and shall be the match of round 32 In my Opinion.
