Since this week's games ended in disappointment for myself and Thomas Thunder, it did not feel right to do a Match Day Recap. I will instead review the stats of Thomas Thunder and see how I am stacking up across the entire academy.
There have been 32 players so far to win Player Of The Match and one of those is Thomas Thunder. He had a strong 10 rating game earlier in the season, but has been in slightly poorer form of late. Thunder is tied for 9th with 4 goals. Overall Port Royal has been excellent since he is one of 4 teammates in the top 10 for goals. Assists is where Thunder has been truly making his mark. He is in sole possession of first place with 6 assists through 11 games. There is a player with 12 total (goals+assists) but Thomas Thunder is tied for second with 10! He is also 3rd on his team and 11th overall for shots, but he is 7th for total shots, so maybe below average accuracy among the shots leaders. Key passes is another category where Thunder has been focusing his training. He is 3rd on the team and 15th overall, which is not incredible, but good progress on an important area of the game. Thomas Thunder has not been slacking though as he does lead the league in the Chances Created stat. Crosses is not a good category for Thunder because he chooses to take the ball himself more often. He is 10th in the league and 3rd on his team with 26 dribbles. He also does not take defense for granted since he is 6th in tackles and 17th in interceptions. All of his movement on and off the ball has brought Thunder up top in fouls against with 19, showing another way he is able to impact the game offensively. Last up is the stat that Thomas Thunder is most proud of this season: He is ranked 3rd for rating! Thunder knows that this is the top overall review of his time in the Academy and he is hoping that his good form can continue through the end of the season. As the draft looms perhaps this can be a boost while being evaluated by the many Orgs!
