Last time I covered how I thought I was doing as a player and my expectations for the team entering the final 5 games of the season. Now there are just 2 games left and my expectations for Port Royal FC have shifted drastically with certain results that happened in the past 3 games
Matchday 10: vs. Victoria Falls 3-1 W
This was a huge win for Port Royal As for a brief moment it allowed them to draw even with PS Jakarta for the top spot in the table. with goals from His Cheeseburger, Thor, and Max Velox. To be honest I did see this game as win for PR entering the match as it was a huge game for the team and I was right. This continues the great form that Port Royal has been on
Matchday 11: @ Sydney City 3-3 D
I didn't see this result happening as I was expecting a win. This late in the season is a bad time to draw a match because PS Jakarta won their match against Istanbul 3-1. So PR now has lost ground to them and are 5 points behind for the Acadamey title. From the sounds of it Port Royal got FM'd in this match and had a shot to potentially win, but the ref blew his whistle 3 times before the shot could get off
Matchday 12: @ Stockholm IK 3-1 win
Another huge win, but PS Jakarta also won so no gain on them for the title. At this point I don't think Port Royal FC will be able to win the title because they need PS to drop their next two games AND PR needs to win put and I just don't see that happening. At this point I'm just hoping the team does enough to clinch 2nd in the standings which can happen in their next match
For matchday 13 Port Royal FC has Istanbul at home and then has a game at Adowa Accra FC to close out the season. Port Royal can guarantee they can finish now worse than 2nd in the table with a win over of Istanbul or a Stockholm loss to PS Jakarta, the latter would allow Jakarta to lock the title up with just one match to go. Port Royal FC needs to win and hope that Stockholm IK can pull the upset off. I'm expecting a win from Port Royal in the last 2 matches, but anything can happen. Remember earlier in the season Port Royal FC had a surprising draw against Istanbul F.K., so anything can happen
I'm not that surprised to see my player in the top 10 in goals scored this season. I don't think he'll be this good once he starts playing in the SSL minor league, but the best thing I can do is keep earning TPE and spending it on the necessary attributes. I know it's a long road to get to the top, and it has rewarding a conclusion
