It’s been a long season for Sandro and CDT. While they’re fresh off a 4-0 win against first division rivals Liffeyside, they were bounced in the cup semis by their boogeyman, USP, yet again. Sandro grew up a USP fan, which makes it all the more painful that he’s got such a bad record against the team after they passed on him in the season 21 draft. On a personal level, Sandro has struggled this season. It seems he’s reached the level that teams pay extra attention to him. Deny the keeper the ability to play to him as an outlet, keep a winger and defender on him, and his own manager seems to leave him to be both the only source of attack down the right wing as well as the only one defending two men.
It’s an all around frustrating situation that has brought Sandro to the lowest average rating he’s had as a pro footballer. Despite all of this, Sandro is confident that he is the best he’s ever been from a technical and physical standpoint, but he needs to keep grinding if he wants to hit the very highest level. Right now, it’s waive after wave of negativity in terms of his performances and another relegation fight for his team. He’s reaching the point where something has to give, and he’s just hoping both he and his teammates can find their footing.
