Despite the rough journey of going from never playing Soccer in his life to suddenly being a member of the Adowa Accra FC Academy team, Tyson’s adjusted pretty well to his new life. Since his trainer isn’t around to command him, Tyson’s had to view his new coach as his honorary trainer, and wow, what a trainer! For once, Tyson can actually feel himself improving at something instead of repeating the same mistakes like he used to when batting other Pokemon! Right, did you know he was a Typhlosion? Well, now you’re aware. And you’re also aware now, that Tyson hasn’t actually seen any action on the field in a game yet. But that’s okay! He has a lot of skills to work on still, which is why Coach has been letting Tyson work as the team water boy, keeping our players hydrated in tough games!
In the first game Tyson got to be on the sidelines for, he helped hydrate his team to a solid 0-4 loss against Victoria Falls!…Wait, 0-4???? Was Tyson on a bad team???? I mean they signed him so maybe they were in desperate need or something…But no, Adowa Accra is anything but bad! As he’s learned, they’re one of the most spirited bunch he’s ever seen, and despite the loss, the fire inside of all the players was blazing brighter than ever! Which is how we ended up with the team beating Sydney City in a game 1-0! It was extremely exciting to witness, and everyone was very clearly ecstatic about it! With seemingly one game remaining on the schedule for Adowa, it’s hard not to feel sad about not being able to have more time with such an awesome team, but it’s an experience that Tyson is very grateful for and will carry with him forever as he continues to look forward to more extreme hydrating!
