With Scott Newman's time in the SSL Academy coming to an end today, I want to thank Port Royal FC for providing the frist stepping stone of hopefully will be a great career on the SSL. Next I want to thank @Riipsaw for answering any questions I had and for providing guidance on where to apply TPE in my build. I also want to thank people like @Quitolis for being wonderful teammates. I know that we're teammates now and will most likely be rivals in the future. I'm still going to hold my PRFC teammates in high regard starting in s27. It has been a fun season with highs and lows and I know we can't do better than 2nd in the table. I would love to end this season on a high note with a win at Adowa Accra FC. Once this is over my focus I'll shift over to the upcoming SSL prospect draft and I can't wait to see my render on the draft card, I might take a screen shot of it and use that in my sign on the forums. Once again thank you guys for the wonderful season and good luck to everyone in future SSL seasons
As an aside I found out about 2 more things about the league that separates it from the other I'm in. 1 is that there's a "mercy" rule in this league. For those who aren't aware if one team goes up by 5 goals the sim changes to show only key highlights (goals and near goals) to speed things up. Sometimes a highlight will show a bunch of passing that amounts to nothing and that gets cut. The other thing I learned is the bank account is tied to the player and not the user. In the other 3 leagues I'm in, it's the opposite; the bank account is tied to the user. I agree with what Quitolis said on Discord about this "Then the recreates have to do real participation and can't just coast off the past." I think this also helps level out the playing field when it comes to earning cash and it can give someone a better idea who is earning well and who is going the medium/casual route
