With only a few days until the season officially gets underway, teams will have finally completed their squads for long battle ahead.With rumors in the previous weeks swirling around that Catalunya would be promoting Walker from their Minor team, it appears those rumors were true. Many behind the scenes felt it was now time to unleash Walker, having done well in the Minor divisions over the last few seasons. Catalunya will be glad to have an out and out striker back amongst their squad, hoping he can propel them to the top of league and back into Division 1 after being relegated last season.
Walker himself seems to be ready for the call up, having doubled his training sessions to get prepared for the faster pace of the division. It's one part of his training that has always caught the eye of everyone who has worked with him, commenting that he seems to value his physical fitness very highly and ensures he won't be beat in a physical battle on the pitch. Some had questions over his concentration on the pitch but coaches have said this is something he seems to have fixed in early pre-season training with this not being an issue at all.
