Well well well, it’s been a little while SSL. I do apologize for not gracing you with my ramblings these last couple of weeks. It’s been the offseason in a lot of other leagues, and that means Kaspars Kalinins has been spending a lot of his time meeting other pro athletes and helping them in their offseason training. He’s really felt a lot like one of those generically athletic kids in high school who is never quite at the top of any sport, but is comfortably a contributor to many, off of just straight sheer athleticism. Kaspars has really rounded out his game, and is beginning to enter the pinnacle of those in his role. There has been a lot of time spent polishing those defining attributes and bringing himself to the highest level in those. Sure, there are some other tertiary attributes that have gotten some love, but it really has been all in on those core attributes and bringing them above his opponents. Liffey as a whole has been taking nice steps forward in the last few seasons, and are really coming into their own as true competitors. Now with new expansion teams taking the reins, we don’t quite feel like the new guys anymore.
