Post Match Interview Bergmann Montreal - Rova
#1
Interviewer: It hasn't been too long since the last time we spoke, yet I am really looking forward to hear your thoughts on your recent win against Rova. The ratings are not out yet but I would expect this game to be the best rated of your career, yet. How did it feel on the pitch?

Bergmann: It felt like a great game, both individually and as a team. We played some good football, as the cherry on top I got my first asist of the season. Solid teamwork and great individual performances, today really had it all for us.

Interviewer: Looking at the current standings, you are in second. How do you see the rest of your season go?

Bergmann: It's still early but our only loss of the season came against Paris who are expected to win this league. No shame in loosing against them. We sit in a comfortable spot, but we can't allow ourselves to become lazy and switch off. Until the final whistle in the last game is blown we need to be at 110%. All of us. If we manage to do that, we can achieve an impressive placement and prove to all those that doubted us before the season, that they were wrong. That's our goal, to show everyone what we are capable of, prove that last season wasn't a fluke but the new Montreal.

Interviewer: Your next games are against North Shore United and Kaapstad, are you going to get another 6 points?

Bergmann: Obviously that's the goal, but a lot of football is still to be played in both matches. As I said, we need to be focused on each game, so we will take it one after the other.

Interviewer: Thank you for your time.
