Minors league (1 & 2) defensive/physical statistics BIG STRONG MEN/WOMEN?
#1
Hello everyone, I wrote the text yesterday and made the screenshots of the graphs today, guess what? The index was updated so the graphs are no longer in line with the text I wrote. I didn't want to rewrite everything so yeah. The graph is the actual "new" data, the text is about what it was 1 game ago.

Average rating

Average rating gives us a good general overview again, showing which players have been performing at the highest level overall. Roquefort Cotswold leads the way with an excellent 8.47 average rating, narrowly ahead of Zach Mulder on 8.40.

Matt Stro follows in third with 8.17 while Ignignokt and Rigby Emerson are tied on 7.83. Greg Evil sits sixth on 7.80 followed by Takaharu Suzuki on 7.75.

João Mendes, Ryan O'Neill and Cory Stevens complete the top ten with 7.72, 7.70 and 7.67 respectively. Cotswold leads the competition so far, although the gap to second is relatively small, with just 0.80 separating the top ten overall.

Attempted tackles
Attempted tackles show us which players are most frequently looking to win the ball back through direct challenges, or maybe they just tripped. Scorp E. Unshark leads the way with 22 attempted tackles narrowly ahead of Howie Dewitt on 21.

Rylakn and Ekon Ayo are tied for third with 20 attempted tackles followed by Max Velox, Xuxu Jang and Ignignokt on 19 each. Sirxo Masters and Bread Lasso sit joint on eighth with 18.
Butters Stotch rounds out the top ten with 16 attempted tackles. It's a tightly grouped ranking with just 6 tackles separating Unshark at the top from Stotch in tenth.

Tackles won
Tackles won shows us which players are having the most success in their attempts to win the ball back. Bread Lasso, Rylakn and Ekon Ayo lead the way with 16 successful tackles each.

Kairo Vox follows closely in fourth with 15 while Ignignokt and Howie Dewitt are tied on 14. Jonathan Muńoz, Matt Stro, S Sei and Tobias Gruber complete the top ten with 13 tackles won each.

It's a very closely matched ranking with just 3 tackles separating the entire top ten. Lasso, Rylakn and Ayo may technically occupy the top three spots but there's very little between the leaders and the rest of the competition.

Tackle %
Tackle percentage shows us who might be the actual best tackler based on their percentual success. All ten players at the top of the leaderboard recorded a perfect 100% tackle success rate, so it actually doesn't mean anything because clearly volume is more at play here.

Ciaphas Cain, Bonnibel Bubblegum, Dante Von Wolfe, Cal McRae, Barry McGlynn, Dissa Pointment, Domingo Hernández, Mikko Rashford II, Oscar Acton and ROVA SUPERSUB (oops hehe) all share the top spot.
With every player sitting at 100% there is absolutely no separation in this statistic so far. Let's see if this changes later in the season.

Key tackles
Key tackles show us which players are making the tackles that have a significant impact on defensive play. Eric Duic leads the way with 6 key tackles, only one ahead of Pizzly Bear in second.

Alex Peña, Diglett Primarus, Felix Pedro, Mecha Zilla and Slabko Plačkovič are all tied for third with 4 key tackles. Steven Urkel, Larv Itar and Damian DeSoto complete our top ten with 3 each.

Interceptions
Interceptions show us which players are the most effective at cutting out opposition passes and disrupting the opponents buildup play. Christopher Bergmann and Cameron Millwall lead the way with 17 interceptions each just two ahead of Scorp E. Unshark in third.

Joshua Homme III Esquire Limited follows with 14 interceptions while Mecha Zilla, Jakob Fensterhausen, Captain MetalBeard and Ron Wince are all tied on 13. Marco Tentacles and Roquefort Cotswold complete the top ten with 12 interceptions each.

Again a closely matched statistic with just 5 interceptions separating the two leaders from the players tied for ninth/tenth. Bergmann and Millwall share the top spot but one good game can switch up the rankings.

Clearances
Clearances show us which players are involed the most with getting the ball out of dangerous areas and relieving pressure on their team. Tyson Blaze leads the way with 22 clearances, five clear of Slabko Plačkovič in second place.

Eric Duic and Larv Itar are tied for third with 16 clearances followed by Pizzly Bear on 15. Scorp E. Unshark sits sixth on 14 while Berit Skovgaard and Callum Wiggins share seventh place with 13.
Justin Fern and His Cheeseburger complete the top ten with 12 clearances each. Blaze is the clear standout here with a five clearance lead on second place and an almost unbeatable lead on the rest of the competition.

Mistakes leading to goals
Mistakes leading to goals show us which players have made errors that directly resulted in an opposition goal, not the best statistic to be the best at I'd say. Slabko Plačkovič leads the way with 2 mistakes leading to goals, one more than the nine players which are tied one just 1. Big shoutout to Slabko.

Bérangère-Amandine Bruère-Estrangin, Billy Elliott, Ekon Ayo, Jaden CIC, Dimitrios Karras, Mecha Zilla, Marco Tentacles, Moew enBach and NORTH SHORE GOALKEEPER (oops) are all tied for second with 1 mistake leading to a goal each.

Just 1 mistake separating Plačkovič at the top from everyone else in the top ten. With nine players all tied on 1. You'd hope that this does not really change for the sake of your team, except for Plačkovič, don't want to be winning this one.

Blocks
Blocks show us which players are always standing in the way of their opponent and preventing passes/crosses/whatevers from reaching their target. Alex Stain and Ekon Ayo lead the way with 7 blocks each one ahead of the four players tied in third.

Matt Oopsie Wrongsport Turk, Joshua Homme III Esquire Limited, Le Chonk and Slabko Plačkovič are all tied for third with 6 blocks each. Christopher Bergmann, His Cheeseburger, JG Wentworth and King Szarekh complete the top ten with 5 blocks each.

Another closely matched statistic with just 2 blocks separating the two leaders from everyone else in the top ten. Stain and Ayo share the top spot but there's very little between the rest of the competition.

Shots blocked
Shots blocked show us which players are sacrificing their body to get in front of their opponent and block the attempt on goal. Slabko Plačkovič leads the way with 6 shots blocked just one ahead of His Cheeseburger and Alex Stain in second and third.

Justin Fern, Matt Oopsie Wrongsport Turk, Aren fjord, Bérangère-Amandine Bruère-Estrangin and STAR SCREAM are all tied for fourth with 4 shots blocked each. Eric Duic and Ekon Ayo complete the top ten with 3 shots blocked each.

Press %
Press percentage shows us which players are most successful when applying pressure to the opposition and forcing them into making a mistake. Dáibhí Barr leads the way with a perfect 100% press success rate, well ahead of Martin Krpan in second with 71.43%.

Zach Mulder follows in third with 64.29% while Berit Skovgaard sits fourth on 62.5%. Mecha Zilla, Justin Fern and THRAXXii La’Mort are tied for fifth with 60% followed by King Szarekh on 57.14%. Dr Squid and Cal McRae complete the top ten with 54.55% and 52.63% respectively.

It's a fairly spread out ranking with 47.37 percentage points separating Barr at the top from McRae in tenth. Barr is the clear standout with a perfect press percentage, while the rest of the top ten gradually drops away from the 70% mark. This is either because Barr has a low volume of presses (I didn't look who knows) or he could just have a very unpleasant face to see up close.

Attempted headers
Attempted headers show us which players are attempting to win an aerial challenge the most, because they are either good at it or have a humiliation fetish by losing every single time. Louis Ashworth leads the way with 62 attempted headers, nine ahead of Dante Von Wolfe in second.

Matt Stro follows in third with 51 attempted headers while Alex Stain sits fourth on 48. Roquefort Cotswold, Dennis van Huntelrooy and Berit Skovgaard are tied for fifth with 44 each. Dissa Pointment follows with 42 while Jakob Fensterhausen and Resetti Moretti complete the top ten with 41 and 39 respectively.

It's a pretty spread out statistic with 23 attempted headers separating Ashworth at the top from Moretti in tenth. Ashworth is the clear leader here with the gap to second larger than the gap between several of the players further down the top ten.

Succesful headers
Successful headers show us which players are actually winning their aerial duels and successfully getting their head to the ball, the real Chads of football. Matt Stro leads the way with 40 successful headers, five ahead of Berit Skovgaard in second.

Dennis van Huntelrooy (humble, smart, strong) and Louis Ashworth are tied for third with 34 successful headers followed by Roquefort Cotswold on 30. Greg Evil and Jakob Fensterhausen share sixth place with 28 each while Benjamin Munro sits eighth with 27. Tyson Blaze and Damian DeSoto complete the top ten with 26 and 25 successful headers respectively.

15 successful headers are separating Stro at the top from DeSoto in tenth. Stro has a solid lead over the rest of the competition so far while the middle of the top ten is much more closely matched.

Headers %
Headers percentage shows us which players win the most headers, and honestly usually players with a low volume end up higher in this statistic. Dáibhí Barr and ROVA SUPERSUB (Oh no another sub) lead the way with a perfect 100% success rate, comfortably ahead of Zach Mulder in third with 93.33%.

Tyson Blaze follows in fourth with 89.66%, while Ben Nelson sits fifth on 88.46%. Louie Duck and Captain MetalBeard follow with 87.5% and 86.67% respectively. Isaiah Ali sits eighth on 83.33% followed by Don Lorenzo on 82.14%. Bread Lasso completes the top ten with an 81.82% success rate.

Key headers
Key headers show us which players are getting onto headers that have a significant impact on play. Greg Evil leads the way with 13 key headers, one ahead of Matt Oopsie Wrongsport Turk in second.

Eric Duic follows in third with 9 key headers while Matt Stro and Roquefort Cotswold are tied for fourth with 7 each. Dennis van Huntelrooy (Wow what a player) sits sixth on 6 followed by Benjamin Munro, Larv Itar, Kuba Kunicki and Berit Skovgaard who all recorded 5 key headers.

Most impactful defenders
The defensive impact model gives us the scientifically proven way to see which players is contributing the most in their teams defence. Slabko Plačkovič leads the way with an impressive score of 11.56 narrowly ahead of Eric Duic in second on 10.97.

Pizzly Bear follows in third with 8.87 while Larv Itar and Damian DeSoto sit fourth and fifth with 8.46 and 8.30 respectively. Rylakn, Tyson Blaze and Orlando Mastache Maldonado follow with 7.68, 7.58 and 7.46.
Alex Peña sits ninth on 7.39 while Diglett Primarus rounds out the top ten on 6.88.
