After recent struggles the rookie Star had a sit down with management who reassured Tex that they still have all the faith in the kid, and encouraged him to trust the process within a young team. Following that Kaapstad had a bye week, and then won 3-0 against Montreal United. That was a major win for the squad as they fight off being in a relegation spot with the team directly under them. All praises to the ace of the squad Dante Van Wolfe who scored 2 early goals. When asked about the recent match Tex gave praises to his teammates for the resiliency shown all season, but they came back out swinging hard down the stretch here. With 3 matches remaining the hope is that we can continue to put together fantastic team efforts, and maybe climb a spot or 3 which should still be possible to this point in the right situation. Outside of the clear leaders in AS Paris the Minor League 1 division has been very competitive this season with the next 2 teams being 3 wins behind the leader and then the teams to follow being close behind those two as well. How will it all finish, can Kaapstad continue to hold relegation off and potentially climb the ranks here down the stretch of it all, and can the rookie star find the net again before its all over?
