Going into the season, Wesley Stains has been anticipating some strong individual performances as he was about to take his first steps into Division 2 of the Simulation Soccer League. After spending the first 6 seasons of his career with Cairo City and FC Catalunya in Division 1 and honing his skills, Stains expected to be one the best players on the pitch in Division 2. However, these expectations did not come to fruition as not only did Cairo City lose both preseason games, Stains was one of the worst players on Cairo in both matches.
That was something that I don't think anyone expected. Now over 1500 TPE, Stains should be one of the best players in not only Division 2, but the entire SSL. Now after heading back home to Cairo, he can't even cut it against Division 2 teams? Stains' performances have been very disappointing to say the least. Perhaps it was the lack of chemistry with his teammates after spending a season away from the team, or maybe it was the nerves from playing in front of Cairo fans after playing for their biggest rival last season. Either way, Wesley Stains needs to step up his game and contribute more to Cairo City.
