Wow! who was that wingback who despite arriving late to the academy earned a 7.2 rating in a 3-0 drubbing? THE Dieter! But where did he come from?
Mr. Dieter was born June 4th with 5 siblings in Omaha, Nebraska. At 2 weeks old he was sold for $200.00 as a birthday gift to someone who wanted to remain anonymous for this article. I know what your thinking "slavery in this era?!", but no. His new owner named him Ripple as he was a blue pied parrotlet. His early life was spent with his owner, her family and 3 dogs (Izzy, Zeus, and Luigi). This is where he truly learned to survive. Izzy the Papillon was constantly watching him as he flew around the house, occasionally attempting to snatch him out of the air. He learned his exceptional agility and acceleration dodging out of the way of her grasping jaws. Until finally, one day Ripple had had enough. He let out a earthshattering deet and swooped at the evil Izzy faster than the arrogant dog could have imagined, immediately sending her into a yelping retreat. Having established his place in the hierarchy he began integrating with the humans he called family. Quickly learning phrases such as "gimme a kiss", "tickle tickle", "Ripple loves cuddles", and lastly his favorite most famous phrase "three beeps". He continued this existence, terrorizing dogs, learning more phrases and generally loving life, until his owner, someone he now regarded as the leader of his flock, finished college and decided to move to South Florida.....
