So everyone welcome back to the third person diary entries of Kimi Häkkinen, the world famous F1 driver who was too successful and had to take up another sport so he would not be bored to death. This time we will be visiting Kimi’s home or well one of his homes. As he is so successful he does not really call any specific place home as he has houses or getaways across every corner of the globe. Most of his time he is currently spending near the London area as his trainings and matches are mostly in London. When he was drafted to Inter London he decided he wanted some place there so he bought a house in Southend-on-Sea, mostly for two reasons. Firstly he needed a place that had its own harbour so he could use his jet skis and yacht and secondly because that was the closes place to his home that could have a helipad put in. As you know the London area traffic is of nightmares so Kimi only really does helicopter rides to training and matches as he sees himself above the traffic of commoners. He even has it in his contract that if Inter ever move away from their current facilities (which thankfully have helipads installed) that they would need to build those for him.
