Rookie of the Year?

While looking throughout the season, one name stands out more then the rest in this reporter's eyes. Gerd Klose. Gerd Klose of Hollywood Football Club has had an amazing rookie year in the SSL. Gerd Klose has scored 9 goals, which is tied for 3rd most in the Majors this season. On top of that, he has scored those 9 goals on only 15 shots (12 of which were on target)!! How impressive is that? Gerd Klose really knows how to find the net. To mention, he is tied for 3rd most goals, with someone who also has 9 goals, who has 39 shots, and 12 on target. Gerd Klose has shown that he is the absolute definition of a finisher and that he should without a doubt be at least talked about and potentially given the Rookie of the Year award, since he has shown that he can compete with the big dogs and will only improve from here. While Hollywood has not performed like they would have liked to, Gerd Klose and the Hollywood Football Club have shown that a massive rookie class can help turn the tides on the season a lot faster than most would have originally thought. Hollywood was 6th in the standings, sitting at a 4-4-6 record, but there is only one way move, and that is up.
