Almost there
#1
Ever since Karl Schenkinger became the captain of his home team, Schwarzwälder FV, he has felt some additional pressure. Even though it was just an armband, its responsibility weighed heavily on him. Would he be good enough to fill the position? Would he be good enough for other to rely on him? Would he be strong enough to provide guidance in difficult times on the pitch?

Questions like these bore heavy on the mind of the defensive powerhouse. He spent years honing his skills, and when he was done on the pitch, Schenkinger was taking leadership courses. Yet, the nagging doubts remained.

Things only changed for the better after seeing a sports therapist. Ever since, his thoughts have turned from doubts to hopes. Would he be the first player to ever lead SFV to a trophy? Would he be the one that would finally, after all these years of trying, present the champion's trophy to the fans? What used to be nagging doubts that weighed him down, this change of perspective seemed to empower the german international.

Now, with only two games left in the season, only one more win separates him from turning his dreams into reality. Almost there. At this point, the armband feels light as a feather, and it seems to be giving strength rather than weighing him down. Going into the final games, I'm sure we can expect SFV's leader to be on fire, and he seems determined to lead his squad to glory.
