Academy Task 5: Skovgaard Through the Academy
#1
The Skovgaard Quadruplet (Aleksandr, Berit, Caspian and Dina) played the whole Academy season for the Stockholm Idrottsklubb. Most of them played for thirteen games during the season except the youngest, Dina Skovgaard, who played in twelve of them. All of them play different position and it show that they have different strength due to this. Aleksander is playing CM, Berit is playing CD, Caspian is on CDM and Dina is playing RD. It shows they all have different skill sets and they are used differently on the field. The two eldest have 3 goals each and Aleksander edge Berit in term of assist having 5 more than her, for a total of 6. Aleksander was also under the spotlight with his 2 players of the match in the season. No one shoot as much as Berit however, who has 28 shots total, 15 of them being on target, only sad she was not able to capitalize more on it. Only Dina was a bit rougher during the season with one penalty taken across all the matches. Dina was also on most of the scout's radar for being a better player than average as the other in the class.

On the passing side, it's Caspian that managed to stay on top of his siblings, with a 92% pass successful in 672 attempts. However, Berit again over did it with 836 pass attempts of her own, staying close of her younger brother for a 90% pass completed ratio. Dina however had the most key passes of the season for the Skovgaard with 26 of them. Only Aleksandr and Dina attempted crosses during the season, but the ratio was not amazing, with Dina being the better one at 20% of success on 81 attempts. On the header side, we can all see that Berit is the headmaster with 147 attempt for a ratio of 81% completed. Sixteen of them were key header in the games. When you look at tackles, the whole family have a good average at it, with Caspian having the highest for 29 attempts, winning 25 of them. However, it's Berit again that win the key tackles in a game with 6. She also knew pretty well where to go on the field to stop the opponents as she intercepted 39 passes in the season. However, both Berit and Caspian had clear error once during their 13 games that lead directly to a goal. Its a bit rough to see you can be pinpointed like that, but it's what it is.

On the discipline side, none of them got a Red card during the season, but only Aleksandr got no yellow. In order, Caspian got 2 of them and the girls had 3 each during the season. Aleksandr and Dina were the least disciplined, causing 14 fouls each, but also managed to draw the most of it, with 11 fouls against them. Aleksandr ended up offside 8 times during the season, which he is the only one who managed to do it, considering he's the only offensive minded one.

Overall, the sibling had a decent season but talent vary widely. Caspian Skovgaard is the one with the lowest average rating through the season, with 6.93. Following him, you have Dina Skovgaard with an average of 7.07. Next up is the eldest, Aleksandr Skovgaard with 7.13 and the star of the family is currently Berit Skovgaard with a rating of 7.21.

Many scout mentioned that while Caspian Skovgaard was present to most, if not all, the training of the team, he was only seen honing his skills once this season, which might have hurt his performance during the season. Let's hope he can find a team that will make it interesting for him to hone his skills further.
