Dramatic scenes happened late into the 2-2 draw between Stockholm IK and Victoria Falls, as Stockholm's defensive midfielder Cameron Millwall scored a very, very late equalizer to even up the scoreboard and save his side a point. Millwall fired the late rocket, leaving Victoria Falls' goalie no chance as the ball hit the back of the net. It was Millwall's first ever pro goal, showing off the progress the young German has made ever since arriving in the Swedish capital.
In a social media post following the draw, Millwall wrote: "It's hard to put in words what this means to me. Obviously my job description as a defensive midfielder calls for a more reserved approach to the game, but there's nothing quite like scoring a late banger to help your team earn a crucial point in the standings. I've had my fair share of problems adjusting to the uptick in pace out here in the SSL Academy, so this is a huge moment for me. The coaching staff has always been so supportive of me, and I hope this is just the start of me paying back the trust and faith they've had in me. I can't wait to get more goal contributions!"
