When Bartholomew Twinkletoes heard the news that he was going to Seoul to play soccer he was less than excited. Not that Seoul is a bad city, in fact quite the opposite. Seoul is a lovely city with a vibrant night life and strong fan base however a good number of his rich friends lived in Paris so when he wasn't drafted by their major league team located in Sao Paulo he was a little agitated. Combine that with the fact that that team would choose his biggest rival as their goalkeeper and the anger inside Bartholomew was sizzling.
This is all to set up Bartholomew's current feelings toward being on Seoul which is to say he wouldn't want to be on any other team. While the major league counterpart is struggling currently second to last, the team that Bartholomew likes to think he leads is at the top of the minor league division. In 5 games Seoul has racked up 13 of the possible 15 points they were eligible for meaning they have won four games and drawn once. That's right, the Seoul MFC who just one season ago was last in the division with a measly 7 total points have completely flipped the script. Whether this is completely due to Bartholomew is debatable but what isn't debatable is Seoul's place in the number one slot.
While there are nerves within the locker room about their meeting with second place North Shore, the team has shown it is one of the best at scoring goals and is home to the most elite defense in the minors allowing only 9 total goals being the only team to be in the single digits for goals allowed. If you go to the goalkeeper stats page for the minors you will find Bartholomew's stats are, for the most part, unimpressive. Sure he may have allowed the least amount of goals, saved the second most balls from entering the back of the net, and has the highest xG prevented but people still don't think he's the best.
