From worst to first in a matter of a weeks, it was quite a first season for Tokyo S.C. From a manager retiring Midseason to winning the SSL cup, this core stuck together through it all. Hoping to lead Japan to SSL glory for years to come, Tokyo S.C is pleased to announce the following contract renegotiations.

Tokyo S.C is excited to announce that Helena Soderberg have renegotiated their contract for S2.

Soderberg has been an integral part of the team and LR so far in Tokyo’s inaugural season. A defensively sound wingback who should only get better on the attack as she gains more experience on the wing. She’s an exceptional teammate and well known throughout so many different leagues & teams. A max earner, superb LR presence among many other reasons, Tokyo S.C is proud to announce her extension for an additional two seasons.

Tokyo S.C is pleased to announce that Sam Siege have renegotiated their contract for S2.

A waiver wire pickup a couple of games into the season, despite not earning at a top level, Sam Siege went above and beyond all expectations this past year. From making a game saving tackle in the cup final to finishing as a top rated defender in the entire league. An extremely active player in the LR & after an already great start to a career on the pitch, Japan’s top flight club looks forward to seeing how Siege develops in the future.
Tokyo S.C is also overjoyed to be extending Seige for an additional two seasons.

A veteran presence in a young body on the field & mentor in the LR, his presence is immeasurable on the pitch & off. Rumors have it he’s such an expert at FM it helped make the new manager more comfortable accepting the job. The Center back looks poised to lead his team on the back line for years to come & Tokyo S.C is thrilled to extend Vercatti for an additional two seasons.

An important part of the core of Tokyo’s roster & LR, Isagi is also the last remaining active midfielder or forward from the S1 SSL Cup Champions. A truly all around talent at attacking midfield Tokyo is blessed to have has such a talent fall all the way to them in the 7th round of the inaugural SSL draft. Poised to lock down the middle of the field for years to come, Tokyo S.C is eager to announce the extending of Isagi for an additional two seasons.

After a tenuous few days waiting and a tense moment first reading the expansion team draft selections. Tokyo is over the moon to announce the return & resigning of Jonas Thessnevitz for their contract in S2.

An extremely important part of Tokyo’s run to the SSL cup championship, Thessnevitz led the entire league with 41 tackles won, dominating the left side of the pitch. A top earner & user in the LR as well as on the field, Tokyo S.C shows no hesitation in extending Thessnevitz’s contract for an additional two years.
