With season 18 being over, we can have another look at how the ELO evolved for the different teams this season. There is a chance I might do more specific ones that look at individual teams at a later point, but this one is mainly for the league as a whole.
So low and behold, the updated ELO ranking

The first notable thing is that while not winning the league this season, Reykjavik United has overtaken Schwarzwälder FV this season, this is mainly because those 2 teams are far enough ahead to lose quite a lot of points in both draws and losses, while for points a draw is a lot better than a loss. Furthermore you have the better cup performance of Reykjavik compared to Schwarzwälder.
On the low end of the graph we still see AS Paris as the bottom team, albeit they have increased compared to the deep point in S17.
The most improved team this season has been Sao Paulo gaining 171.93 ELO over the course of the season, while the most declined team is Inter London who lost 109.09 points. The team that stayed the most even was F.C. Kaapstad who lost 9.35 points, this being their 3rd season in a row to stay within 10 ELO points of last season.
In total 6 teams gained ELO, while 10 lost ELO, with the Major/Minor league gap increasing by 86.06 points (of course in favor of the Major League).
That was it for this quick overview ELO update, I might make a more in depth one later on in this season (or over a couple of weeks, depending on how in-depth I decide to go, currently thinking of making 1 for Major, and 1 for Minor league, but could also make 1 per 2/4 teams).
