A review of Paris' roster
#1
For my PT this week I thought I would take a look at the roster of Slab Head's team for the upcoming season. Drafted by USP in the first round of this off-season's SSL draft, Slab Head will spend the season on their minors team, Paris.

With a total of 15 players in the squad, Paris certainly looks to have one of the widest player pools to draw from in the minors for the upcoming season. So let's take a closer look at those players, and break the squad down by position.

The highlight of the Paris squad has to be 2nd year Goalkeeper Benecio Aguilera III. A S18 player, Aguilera III currently sits at a squad high 775 TPE and is one of the TPE leaders in his draft class. Coming in at only 100 TPE behind USPs starting keeper, it would not be surprising to see Aguilera III called up to the majors sooner rather than later, but for the upcoming season he will look to be the brick wall at the heart of Paris' defense.

Second on the roster for TPE is ST Eric Belmont. A S16 user with 748 TPE, Belmont will look to lead the line for Paris' alongside fellow striker Quaquaval the Duck, S17 626 TPE. An attack centred around these two strong strikers looks to be a real force in the upcoming season, with support coming from S17 RAM Eric Fish (658 TPE), S18 LM Greedy McFootcakes (566 TPE) and rookies LAM Joe Mamba (468 TPE) and RAM Zach Mulder (499 TPE).

When we take the time to look at the Defense of Paris, that is where this squad runs into some challenges. With just 2 named defenders on the squad, as well as 2 CDMs, there just isn't much depth to be found at the back for Paris.
The defense is built around rookie CB Slab Head (522 TPE) and he will have to perform well early in the upcoming season to overcome the last of bodies Paris have at the back.
