With Delvecchio now having been assigned to his Academy team, many in the sports world have been wondering how his day to day life has changed, and if there’s been any significant alterations to how he’s preparing for the upcoming season. When pressed for comment, Delvecchio responded with the following:
“Preparation for me has always been the same. Putting 110% of myself into whatever I’m working on at the time. Going back to the earliest days of the BSL and the Bbl, I’ve always committed myself to going out there and making sure that I’m both mentally and physically prepared for all challenges that a new season brings”.
It would seem that Tony is taking this heart, as reporters have sighted him of the Stockholm pitch nearly every day this week, working on techniques new and old, and trying to build chemistry with teammates before they take to the field for their first match of the season week. Most notably, it seems a core group of players for Stockholm are beginning to take shape. Delvecchio has been repeatedly seen with Tyranno Criminal, Trick Johnson, and Dunkler Sowerwine. These 4 are all brand new to the SSL and the Stockholm team, but are doing their best to go out of their way to ensure that team chemistry is high, and that the city of Stockholm knows how thankful they are to get to enjoy the vibrant city for at least a year.
When asked for comment, the small group of amateur fought amongst themselves on who would respond first. It was Delvecchio that broke the squabble:
"The rest of the Academy teams better take note. There's not a more highly motivated, higher energy team out there, and we're going to make sure that everyone knows our names before the season is over.". Soon after, the group was seen running off towards the Vasa Museum for their scheduled, private tour of the exhibits.
